The study reviewed the results of people who had completed 50 of these different pre-marriage classes around the country, and the results that they uncovered were mixed in general.  Basically, the study found that those who had taken part in these studies did tend to enjoy better and more productive levels of communication with their spouses, but they did not generally enjoy a higher level of satisfaction with their marriages than those who did not attend these classes.

The study has garnered much in the way of reactions from experts, and those who are against these classes state that people who are engaged and ready to be married are generally overcome by feelings of love to the point where a class like this will not make an enormous difference in their thinking.  Supporters of these classes have stated that the more positive level of communication should not be overlooked as a result of this effort.
