Professionals and researchers have been studying divorce and divorce trends for many years in an attempt to learn more about what causes divorce and what effects divorce can have on people who go through this process.  A recent analysis of published studies, which is known as a meta-analysis, suggests that people who do go through a divorce tend to face higher risks of an early death.
