As the years continue to pass and domestic violence remains an enormous problem for society despite all of the noble efforts of so many different governmental agencies, non-profit groups and courageous individuals, more steps are being taken in an attempt to deter this type of conduct.  As such, the State of California is once again adding to its statutory language regarding domestic violence.

Everyone understands that domestic violence is a stain on society and that no one should ever have to endure this type of deplorable conduct.  While domestic violence rates remain high, almost all experts agree that this crime is one of the most under-reported in existence.  Unfortunately, this lack of reporting can and does often lead to additional instances of abuse or even to fatalities.
