San Diego divorce lawyer James D. Scott

The Law Offices of James D. Scott is proud to present the annual Family Law Scholarship. This scholarship is meant to financially help any person looking to further their educational career. We highly value education and what it can do to advance a person’s life and future.

Before James D. Scott started practicing divorce law in San Diego, he attended Macalester College, a very prestigious liberal arts school in Minnesota that is similar to Brown or Dartmouth. There, he got his BA in English Literature. With a strong interest in literature, Jim has always enjoyed the art of writing and poetry. That’s why this scholarship asks for an original short story or poem. After providing evidence of financial need, academic standing, and/or community participation, an engaging short story or poem will be the deciding factor for this scholarship. The themes are open, there are no restrictions, and all you need is your imagination. We look forward to awarding one talented person the Family Law Scholarship.
